Airport

AppleCorporation's name for their WirelessEthernet (aka WiFi) technology. They sell AirPort hubs and cards; the latter go in a special PC card slot that is in all Macs since 2000(?). AirPort Extreme is 802.11g (more recent and faster than the original 802.11b). AirPort and AirPort Extreme both interoperate with other 802.11??? equipment.
